Terra Nova School’s Activity Week provides a fantastic experience for all the children in the school. Honing one of Terra Nova’s fundamentals in teaching its pupils life transferable skills, the children are ‘off’ timetable all week developing their resilience, collaboration, perseverance in trying out a plethora of new experiences. Pictured here are Year 4 having a ball practising mindfulness, foraging and wild swimming all in just one day. Elsewhere, Year 8 are in Switzerland, the children participating in Services Week have been helping out at the Cheshire Show, other children are in North Wales and Yorkshire on activity weeks. Even the younger years are off on adventures, enjoying a ‘day at the beach’ in Terra Nova’s vast sandpit! One of the favourite weeks of the year, it is proving to be the usual wonderful adventure!
