The children benefit enormously from performing and their confidence and self-esteem flourishes from one performance to the next. In the last month, the school choirs have performed at:

  1. Arley Hall, entertaining visitors to an annual shopping event.
  2. The school Christmas Fair
  3. Lovell Court, a retirement home, after their performance, the children mingled with the residents, listening patiently and conversing animatedly
  4. The Oakwood restaurant at the Terra Nova parents Christmas lunch
  5. In Sandbach Church at the school carol service
  6. At ‘Arighi Bianchi’ a furniture shop in Macclesfield, to provide some festive cheer!
  7. In St Michaels Church, Manchester at a fundraising event for Shelter – the housing and homelessness charity.

At all these events, the children have given their teachers a feeling of great pride as they have spread the Christmas message of love and cheer with their enthusiastic and polished approach to their performances. The choirs have also demonstrated again and again how much their performance skills have developed over the term by delivering a thoroughly professional but youthfully exuberant mixture of traditional carols and fun Christmas Songs. Congratulations to all members of the junior, senior and Chamber choirs for their fantastic performances!

Here is a clip of the senior choir performing at Lovell Court and pictured are the choir at Arighi Bianchi.
