Terra Nova School welcomed a number of Deputy Heads for a conference, the focus of which was the delivery of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) subjects. Delegates enjoyed a packed day long agenda including an overview of STEAM, robotics and laser printer demonstrations as well as being inspired to ‘understand and develop staff to deliver success’.

Terra Nova School has invested significantly in the provision of STEAM by building a reference HUB (a modern equivalent of a library) as well as a MAKERSPACE in which pupils are learning about areas of computer science such as robotics and coding. The Terra Nova teachers are passionate about the benefits of delivering a STEAM based curriculum and the transferable life skills that this offers our pupils.
