Terra Nova’s inaugural resilience run took place last Sunday. More than 100 entries took part in U9, U11 & U13 races. Our grateful thanks to the Military Preparation College, which was established in 1999 to support young people who have aspirations to join the military. Their team took charge of the event and ensured everyone was put through their paces! Obstacles included: The Endless Maze, The Weighted Climb, The Bear Crawl, Soak The Teacher and Teachers’ Revenge. It was hard to tell whether the children preferred soaking the teachers or being super soaked themselves! The objective was for participants to challenge themselves rather than to race against each other. A great time was had by all and the event will be back by popular demand on Saturday 23rd June 2019.
