During the last academic year, Terra Nova pupils raised funds for Francis House, a childrens’ hospice. A fantastic £5175 was raised during the course of the year. This was achieved through a variety of activities that pupils organised and participated in including a jewellery sale, cake bake sales, Easter egg sales, a Christmas teddy bear sale and last but not least the TN challenge where TN dads cycled through driving rain to the base of Catbells and then the following day 100 members of the TN community climbed to the summit of Catbells in a sponsored cycle and climb.

In this morning’s assembly Kate Puc, a representative from Francis House, pictured here with Headmaster Mr Stewart and Madame Lea, TN’s Head of Modern Foreign Languages, received the cheque.
