Last week we were very proud of how the children conducted themselves during our trip to Jodrell Bank. We set off in the Terra Nova mini buses and spent the day learning all about the science of space. The children spent time looking at and identifying stars and constellations inside the giant planetarium. At the workshop we sorted a bag of useful items that we would take to space with us if we became astronauts. The highlight of the day included making and firing rockets all around the classroom. The children explored the activities both inside and outside. What a lot of learning and fun and all only just around the corner!
