Terra Nova School’s Governors have appointed Mr Philip Stewart to be Headmaster from 1st September 2017. Mr Stewart is currently Head of the Junior School, Deputy Headmaster of College at Dulwich College Shanghai, a post he has held for the past 7 years. Prior to that, Mr Stewart was Head teacher at Leighton Primary School in Peterborough for 8 years.

Mr Stewart will bring a wealth of experience to the role of Headmaster of Terra Nova. Of the many excellent candidates, he has been chosen for his energy, his unending interest in children and their education and his enthusiasm for Terra Nova and all that it represents. Mr Stewart’s experience as a leader in one of the world’s most dynamic and demanding international school groups is matched by his understanding and sympathy for the ethos at Terra Nova.

Mr Stewart will be spending time at Terra Nova in the Spring term in order to further develop his familiarity with and understanding of Terra Nova School in meeting with governors,teachers and parents.
