Terra Nova School is very grateful to the Terra Nova Parent Social Committee who have transformed the rather tired and unloved cricket pavilion into an insulated, cosy, sociable space for parents and their children. As the children in the Senior Preparatory School finish their school day at 5pm onwards, parents frequently need to wait at school from collecting younger children at 4pm until their older children have finished their school day if they are not boarding. The cricket pavilion will have a coffee machine, cups will be recyclable and tables and chairs for after school reading and homework. This will also be a place for parents at Terra Nova to socialise, as ably demonstrated by Mrs Forde Smith and Mrs Stockton in the attached photo!

A special mention must go to Mr Forde Smith who provided a team of 4 men and kindly devoted his time and energy during the half term break to transform the cricket pavilion into this fantastic new facility.
