We have had a fantastic week at the Alderley Edge festival and the venues for the performers were awash with the green and white striped blazers flying the flag for Terra Nova!  I felt immensely proud of everyone who took part, performed and behaved beautifully.  A massive well done to ALLll!

We achieved a record number of awards ( during this festival which in addition to the actual performances is a very welcome icing on the cake and a reward for the hard work of the last few weeks. The standard was higher than ever and the numbers in many of the classes were very large.

The pupils from Terra Nova School who were placed are:

1st place

Flora – Year 4 and under solo drama

We were also lucky enough to have two of our children perform in the Finale Gala Prizewinners Concert on Saturday evening.  Hugo and Edward brought the house down with a duologue from ‘Blood Brothers’ by Willy Russell. Thank you to all the parents for the huge support they have given me over the past few weeks and during the festival. All the rehearsing and learning of lines that goes on at home really is appreciated!

Pictured are just the pupils that were awarded 1st places!
