Our last rugby fixture was played this week, the last of 8 action packed and competitive matches. The U9 squad demonstrated grit and determination in a closely contested match with Rydal Penrhos. Declan stole the headlines, as he crashed over the line for victory in the final seconds of the game. Our U11 squad showcased skill, organisation and flair with a convincing performance during their win at Ellesmere.

Year 7&8 players were put to the test in an afternoon of rugby 7s with Ramillies Hall, as preparation for the next half term’s festivals/competitions. With 24 players participating and performing well, Mr Searle will now have the difficult task of selecting his team. During the next half term, the fixture diary will provide opportunities for our pupils to represent TN in hockey, football and rugby 7s. Another busy half term to look forward to!
