Year 3 enjoyed a chocolatetastic day out at Cadbury’s World this week. From Mayan temples to fierce battles between Spanish explorers, Year 3 discovered so much as they followed the history and journey of chocolate all the way to the UK. They even met the Aztec Emperor Montezuma in a close encounter as they tasted his famous cacao beans.

The trip was not only about the history of chocolate but also the process by which it is made. We learned that Cadbury source cocoa beans from Ghana in a ‘bean to bar’ workshop, visited the cinema room for a 4D chocolate adventure and explored the advertising and packaging of iconic Cadbury brands.

A chocotastic day out that we will remember for many years to come.
